由日本山崎兄妹的圖畫網誌的啟發(日本人一定會喜歡的台灣伴手禮、帶鳳梨入境日本的新規定)，日本的海關(動植物檢疫單位)可以允許來自台灣的旅客，在經過台灣植物檢疫單位(農委會動植物防檢局)的檢查與登記開立植物檢疫證書(Phytosanitary Certificate)後，持植物檢疫證書，攜帶台灣的新鮮鳳梨進入日本領土。
在這樣的情況下，燃起了我的好奇心，那麼歐盟有沒有類似的措施呢？答案是有的，而且因為農業產業、地域與氣候的因素，歐盟對於非歐盟地區的個人進口蔬果的管控措施比較日本算是寬鬆。
所以如果要到歐盟訪友，攜帶台灣農民心血結晶的優秀水果，可能是個不錯的好主意。
以下是我的調查結果，還有相關資料與規則的簡單中譯。
首先，在農委會動植物防疫檢疫局網站中，所指出的路徑，首頁 / 輸出入檢疫 / 植物輸出入檢疫 之網頁，並沒有列出歐盟相關的植物檢疫與輸入的相關規定，我只好另起爐灶，來尋找歐盟官方網頁的相關規定。
由於我的外文能力只有英文，在歐盟的法規網站的浩瀚大海裏實在沒有辦法找到精簡的植物檢疫與輸入的相關規定說明。所以得再重新擬定策略，才能解惑。
那麼如果，找到歐盟國家中對於植物檢疫與輸入的相關規定網頁應該可以一體適用歐盟國家的規定吧？在這樣的搜尋策略下，我果然找到了英國defra(Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs)的網站，上面有提供查詢對於植物檢疫與輸入的個人進口規則。

英國(歐盟)個人進口蔬菜與水果基本原則:
- 正面表列，有在清單上的才可以帶。
- 僅限個人使用。
- 蔬菜與水果在個人行李內的總攜帶數量不得超過 2 公斤(KG)。
- 如果以郵寄的方式寄送到歐盟，必須附上植物檢疫證書(Phytosanitary Certificate)並且聲明為個人使用。
